PERFORMANCE POLICIES

What to Wear

There is no dress code at Kitchen Dog; so long as you have clothes and shoes on, you’re welcome to attend any play!

Seating and Late Seating

Every show has a unique late seating policy based on each show’s scenic design. We do our best to accommodate those who are running late, but we cannot guarantee late seating. If you know you are running late, please give us a heads up by calling the box office at (214) 953 1055.

If you have special seating requests, please call us in advance. The house will open for seating 15 minutes before curtain time. All performances are general admission seating, with exception of our high level donors who receive reserved seats and our season subscribers who receive priority seating. Become a donor or subscriber and upgrade your seating today!

Ticket Exchanges and Refunds

All ticket sales are final. If you are unable to use your ticket, we are happy to convert your ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation. Ticket exchanges for single ticket holders are subject to availability, and may incur additional fees. Ticket exchanges are complimentary for season subscribers.

Age Restrictions

We require audience members to find alternative activities to our performances for children under 8 years of age. Additionally, children under 14 years of age will not be permitted without a parent. However, age restrictions may vary based on each show’s specific content - please view each show’s individual page for show-specific content advisories and age restrictions before purchasing a ticket. We will gladly discuss subject matter with parents or guardians before the performance in order to make an informed decision for you and your child. Before purchasing tickets, please email admin@kitchendogtheater.org or call our Box Office at 214-953-1055.

Content Advisory

Content advisories and strobe advisories are offered on each show's individual page as needed in order to respect everyone’s individual experiences, histories, and sensitivities. Additionally, should a patron need to leave a performance for any reason, our lobby will remain open and supervised for the duration of the show. However, patrons may not be readmitted depending on each show's scenic design. For additional questions about a show’s content advisories please contact Kitchen Dog by phone at (214) 953-1055, or by email at admin@kitchendogtheater.org.

Photography and Recording

We think our designs, sets, and actors are beautiful, too, but please - no photography or videos inside the theater. We want to protect the intellectual property of our brilliant team, and patron photography and videography is a violation of federal copyright law. For approved photos of our shows, or to tag us in your #programinstas or KDT lobby photos, check out our Facebook and Instagram pages!

Concessions

Concessions are available for a cash donation prior to performance and during intermission.
